Life After Divorce | The New Me Mom

Bear with me friends. I’m currently moving over my blog posts from a previous site I was using. If you don’t follow me yet, and are new, I hope you enjoy what you read. First off, let me reintroduce myself to those that don’t know me. My name is Erin. I’m a divorced, single mom as of late 2022. I started “The New Me Mom” blog with intentions to tell people my story and who I am. By the end of my 9-year marriage I wasn’t myself anymore and had a hard time finding who the new me was. In my marriage there was much spiritual, mental, and emotional abuse that I had to recover from and writing about it became a therapeutic way of getting through it. And writing this blog I had hopes of reaching someone else who maybe had gone through similar things. I do have 2 kids. My daughter who is nine years old and acts like she’s fifteen. I mean, who knew makeup and crop tops were a thing at this age?? My son is almost four years old and is non-verbal autistic. We have bad and good days but we navigate the best we can for our situation. I turned 40 years old in August and enrolled myself back in school. I pray God guides me wherever I should go on this one as I have been having the hardest time figuring out what I want to do when I grow up! Overall, we are all on this Earth for a purpose and we all have a story. I’m just here to tell mine. Hope you follow along.
